Pfaff Fusible Black Whisper Web Mesh Stabilizer - 12" X 10yds
Perfect for projects worn close to the skin, Pfaff® Fuse-On Whisper Web Mesh offers a comfortable backing while helping to prevent distortion during stitching. The fusible design means no messy sprays or glues—just press it in place before hooping for a secure hold and precise embroidery placement.
How to Use:
- Cut the Stabilizer: Trim a piece of Pfaff® Fuse-On Whisper Web Mesh slightly larger than your hoop, with at least 1" extra on each side. (Note: The shinier side is the fusible side.)
- Position the Stabilizer: Lay the fusible side against the wrong side of the fabric where your design will be stitched.
- Fuse in Place: Using a medium to high heat setting (adjust for your fabric type), press the stabilizer onto the fabric. This creates a temporary hold—no need for a full permanent bond.
- Hoop the Fabric and Stabilizer: Place both layers into the hoop, keeping the fabric flat and tension-free. For dense embroidery designs, consider adding a second layer of mesh or a light tear-away stabilizer.
- Stitch the Embroidery: Embroider as usual.
- Trim Excess Stabilizer: Carefully cut away the extra mesh, leaving about ¼” beyond the edge of your design.
- Follow Fabric Care Instructions: Wash, dry, or dry-clean the finished item according to your fabric's care label.
