Pfaff Fusible Whisper Web Mesh Stabilizer - 12" X 10yds
Unlike traditional stabilizers, Pfaff® Fusible Whisper Web Mesh adheres effortlessly with heat—no sprays or glues required. Simply fuse it in place before hooping to help prevent distortion and shifting during stitching. Whether you're embellishing knitwear, baby clothes, or other flexible materials, this stabilizer ensures flawless results with minimal visibility.
How to Use:
- Cut a piece large enough to fit your embroidery hoop, allowing at least 1" of extra space on all four sides. (Note: The shinier side is the fusible side.)
- Place the fusible side of the stabilizer against the wrong side of the fabric where the embroidery will be stitched.
- Fuse in Place: Set your iron to medium to high heat (depending on your fabric). Gently press to fuse the stabilizer—just enough to secure it; a permanent bond isn't necessary.
- Position both in the hoop, keeping the fabric smooth and tension-free. For dense designs, you can add a second layer of Fusible Whisper Web Mesh or a light tear-away stabilizer for added support.
- Stitch the Embroidery
- Trim excess stabilizer around the design, leaving about ¼" beyond the stitched edge.
- Wash, dry, or dry-clean your item according to the care label on your fabric.
